We are so happy with our new ADU addition to our home in Woodland Hills, California. The addition is an ADU 500 ft home that feels so much like a real home. It was designed with cathedral ceilings, exposed beams, a full kitchen, & amazing, nice-sized bathroom. Waleed designed it so it didn't interfere with the existing roof line, saving us thousands of dollars. He worked closely with the city to get the permitting past quickly and efficiently. In this small space he maximized every inch of SF. He was great to work with, incorporating all of our ideas while adding brilliant ideas of his own.

Waleed Gabra
Founder & Chief ArchitectWaleed is a licensed Architect in California, the UAE, and Egypt and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). With nearly three decades of experience in Architecture and Project Management, he is dedicated to creating transformative spaces that push boundaries.
After spending 25 years in Cairo, Egypt, and Dubai, UAE, contributing to iconic projects that helped shape the Middle East skyline, he moved to the U.S. to pursue his vision and co-founded WM Architects. Established in 2022, WM Architects combines passion, creativity, and cultural sensitivity to design spaces that connect people with their environments.
At WM Architects, we are driven by a commitment to excellence and attention to detail. Each project reflects our respect for the cultural history, traditions, and aesthetics of its locale. From innovative design solutions to meticulous execution, we bring global perspectives into every project, evolving through key achievements and always embracing new challenges.
When he is not designing, Waleed enjoys cooking or playing tennis.
Mary Matta
Co-Founder & Head of Interior DesignMary has over 28 years of global experience in Interior and Furniture Design. She has worked on high-end residential and commercial projects in Cairo and Dubai, shaping luxury spaces with a commitment to excellence and precision.
Her expertise spans all aspects of interior design, from space planning and material selection to custom furniture design, creating environments that are both functional and sophisticated.
As co-founder at WM Architects, she continues to bring this holistic approach to every project, combining creativity and a passion for design to craft interiors that elevate how people live and interact with their surroundings.
When she is not designing, you’ll likely find her reading a book by the ocean.
